Terms of Service

1. Scope of Repair Services

Lakeland Repair provides professional residential and light commercial appliance diagnostic and repair services across Lakeland and surrounding Polk County, Florida communities. All repairs require customer authorization following an in-person diagnostic evaluation and upfront flat-rate price quote.

2. Diagnostics & Upfront Pricing

A standard diagnostic service fee covers the technician's travel, specialized troubleshooting, and testing to accurately identify equipment failures. When a customer approves the recommended repair during the initial diagnostic visit, the diagnostic fee is credited directly toward the final invoice total.

3. 90-Day Parts & Labor Warranty

Completed repairs include a 90-day limited warranty on newly installed OEM factory parts and associated repair labor. If the identical component fails within 90 days of the repair date, we will replace the part and correct the issue at no additional labor cost.

The warranty does not cover:

• Subsequent, unrelated component or electrical failures.
• Power surges, lightning strikes, or external plumbing issues.
• Physical damage, customer misuse, or unauthorized tampering.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the authorized repair service. We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express), debit cards, cash, and company checks. Itemized digital receipts are provided upon receipt of payment.

5. Appointments & Access

Customers are responsible for ensuring an adult (18 years or older) is present during the scheduled service window and that the appliance is safely accessible to the technician with necessary water, gas, or electrical shut-offs available.

6. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Polk County, Florida.
